PAKOL is a reddish brown, liquid, shellac-based jointing compound. PAKOL is applied together with flax/hemp for the sealing of threaded pipe joints on installations for petrol, oil, gas etc. (Not approved for gas). PAKOL can be dissolved by perchloroethylene and ethanol.
